Is Song Kang Set for a Drama Comeback Even Before Finishing Military Service?
According to an exclusive report by SPOTV News on June 30, Song Kang is set to take on the lead role in the new drama Four Hands following his military discharge in October.
Four Hands refers to a piano term describing a duet where two people play a single piano together. The drama will depict the friendships, love, competition, and growth of young individuals who meet at an arts high school, weaving a coming-of-age narrative that spans their school days into adulthood.
Song Kang will portray a piano prodigy, a character with delicate yet sharp charisma. Fans are eager to see the new, more mature side of Song Kang, who is expected to return with enhanced depth post-military service.
Song Kang enlisted in the army on April 2, 2024, and is currently serving active duty, with his discharge scheduled for October 1, 2025. As he is still serving, detailed discussions about the project will take place after his discharge, but Four Hands is highly likely to be his comeback project.
